Prior to your cleaning, we expect the carpets to be cleared off as much as possible.
Small clutter (shoes, toys, games, clothes, etc) and small furniture should be cleared away before our arrival. We also need hot water access, so a cleared out kitchen or utility sink is needed, as well as a toilet to dispose of the dirty water.
We will move anything we are comfortable moving that we don't think will create any damage or injury to us. Anything that we do move, we have protectors for the legs so they don't create rust/dye spots in your carpet - these should stay for a minimum of 72 hours before you remove them. Nothing that is cleared off the carpets should be put back until dry. Upholstery should not be touched at all until dry.
Carpets can be walked on while wet with CLEAN barefeet or previously washed clean socks. YOUR FEET WILL GET WET so walking on other surfaces could be slippery - USE CAUTION so you don't fall. Pets should avoid any wet surface until dry.
Drying time can vary depending on circumstances - weather, humidity, and soiling are the main causes for varying dry times - we will discuss approximate time with you that day.
